Gordon Fraser, Ph.D.

Gordon Fraser is a lecturer and presidential fellow in American Studies at the University of Manchester, where he specializes in the study of nineteenth-century print culture and the history of science. His scholarship has appeared in academic journals such as PMLA, American Quarterly, J19, and ESQ. and he has also written for popular venues, such as the Washington Post and the Chronicle of Higher Education.

His first book, Star Territory: Printing the Universe in Nineteenth-Century America, was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2021.
